This is an Act to amend the National Environmental Management: Waste Act, 2008, so as to substitute and delete certain definitions and to exclude the department from the spheres of government that are required to compile integrated waste management plans.

This bill amends the Upgrading of Land Tenure Rights Act, 1991. It provides for the application for conversion of land tenure rights to ownership; it provides for the notice of informing interested persons of an application to convert land tenure rights into ownership. It also provides for an opportunity for interested persons to object to conversion of land tenure rights into ownership; it provides for the recognition of conversions that took effect in good faith in the past; and provides for matters connected therewith.

A bill to amend the Local Government: Municipal Systems Act, 2000. It provides for the Minister to make regulations relating to the duties, remuneration, benefits and other terms and conditions of employment of municipal managers and managers directly accountable to municipal managers. It also provides for the approval of staff establishments of municipalities by the respective municipal councils.
