Diseases of Stock Regulations

The regulations make provisions for the prevention and fighting of animal diseases. Importation of stock shall be imported only after having obtained a permit from authorities, and a certificate from a government veterinary surgeon. The regulations introduce various measures to control movement and hygiene of stock, including import control, inoculation, examination, slaughter, stock free zones, inspection, destruction of stock, isolation of stock, impounding of stray stock, and branding of cattle.
