The nine hundred and thirty sixth Act of the Parliament of Ghana sets out to establish an efficient Local Government Service; provide for the establishment and administration of the District Assemblies Common Fund; to provide for a National Development Planning System; to define and regulate planning procedures of District Assemblies; to co-ordinate, facilitate, monitor and supervise internal audit activities within District Assemblies and for related matters.
