The Tree Crops Policy is based on the Food and Agriculture Sector Development Policy II (FASDEP II) developed in 2008. It provides a comprehensive and holistic approach for the sustainable development of the tree crop sub-sector. The policy also contains provisions for proper targeting of support to the tree crops’ value-chains. It integrates the strategies of other national and international frameworks to support agricultural and food security growth.
