“The Policy provides the framework for the management of
public records in the Republic of Rwanda. In its quest to provide transparency and accountability to all stakeholders, it sets out to ensure that all activities and decisions of the Government of Rwanda are fully and accurately documented and managed per the life cycle principles of records creation, maintenance, use and disposal. It additionally aims to promote the accessibility and sharing of information within and across government and to enhance the performance of business activities and service delivery by all government agencies”.
