This Act gives effect to certain fiscal incentives offered to Oil and Gas companies operating in the deep offshore and inland basin areas under production, sharing contracts between the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, companies that hold oil prospecting licenses (mining leases and various petroleum explorations) and other production companies.
