Order Governing the Importation and Exportation of Wild Animals

The ministerial order stipulates that; “It is forbidden to introduce, hold or transport on the national territory organisms harmful to animal specimen whatever their degree of development including formed parasites, eggs, larvae, nymphs and germs. However, for research or experimental purposes, some importations exemptions of harmful organisms may be granted to specialized institutions by the Minister having environment in his/her attributions”. It gives the right to access, rules guiding importation and exportation of animals, measures taken when dealing with contaminated animals, and licensing issuance.
