This strategy marks the government of Rwanda’s Medium-term strategy for economic growth, poverty reduction, and human development. The strategy recognizes the long, and necessary path Rwanda has toured since the aftermath of the genocidal activities of 1994. It notes the relative stability it has attained since it started its recovery process. The EDPRS contains strategies and targets at consolidating achievements in human development. Floating of flagship program towards poverty reduction, good governance, and sustainable growth is also chiefly contained in this document.
