An Act to further and protect the activities and interests of the Girl Guides Association.

This is an Act specifying the provisions to ensure gender equality in elective and appointment decision making positions and for other connected matters.

This Act is a revised version of the 2021 Gender Empowerment Act. The Act aims to promote gender equality and to make provision for a minimum of 30% representation for elective and appointive public officer positions, to make provision for equal opportunity for the training of employees, to make provision for financial institutions to prescribe procedures for the improvement of women access to finance and for other connected matters.

The National Gender Policy aims to achieve a gender-just society where men and women enjoy equality and equity and participate as equal partners in the development process of the country. The policy goal is to eradicate gender discrimination and inequalities in all spheres of life and development.

The gender policy for the NAC provides a framework within which institutional policies, strategies and programs mainstream gender and women’s empowerment into the national response to the HIV and AIDS epidemic.

This is an Act to provide for the establishment of the Zimbabwe Gender Commission to perform specified functions, including the investigation of and making of recommendations on the removal of barriers to the attainment of full gender equality; and to provide for matters connected with or incidental to the foregoing.

The Policy on Disability of the Department of Social Development (DSD) focuses on the provision of integrated developmental social services, i.e. security, welfare and community development for people with disabilities. It aims to guide and inform the mainstreaming of disability in the development and implementation of all policies, strategies and integrated service delivery programmes of the department.

The Policy on Financial Awards to Service Providers in the social development sector is primarily aimed at ensuring that government, together with the non-governmental sector, and where appropriate, private sector organisations, achieve the mission of the department namely “to enable the poor, the vulnerable and the excluded within the South African society to secure a better life for themselves.

This policy framework has the objectives to ensure coordinated action at national, provincial, district and local level to realise the rights of orphans and other children made vulnerable by HIV and AIDS, their caregivers, families and communities and to ensure that legal, policy and institutional frameworks for the protection and promotion of the rights of affected children are implemented at all levels.

This is an Act to amend the Child Justice Act, 2008, so as to amend a definition, to further regulate the minimum age of criminal capacity, to regulate the provisions relating to the decision to prosecute a child who is 12 years or older but under the age of 14 years, to further regulate the proof of criminal capacity and to further regulate the assessment report by the probation officer.

This is an Act to give effect to the right to administrative action that is lawful, reasonable and procedurally fair and to the right to written reasons for administrative action as contemplated in section 33 of the Constitution of the Republic of South Africa, 1996 and to provide for related matters.
