This document contains the general ethical guidelines for the general duties of health professionals in Namibia.

These guidelines were developed by the Ministry of Health to alleviate the problems of food insecurity and malnutrition in Namibia by providing guidance for healthy food choice and diet.

These guidelines was developed to prevent mother-to-child transmission of HIV. The guidelines covers routine HIV testing and counselling, routine care during pregnancy, labour, delivery and post-natal period for HIV-positive women, pharmaceutical interventions for HIV positive pregnant women and exposed infants, and management of the HIV exposed infant.

These guidelines were developed by the Ministry of Health to provide the necessary guidelines and best practices for quality treatment, care and support for people living with HIV in Namibia.

Part 1 of the Hospitals and Health Facilities Act outlines the necessary provisions for the regulations of state hospitals in Namibia.

These regulations outline the general requirements and standards of health facilities in Namibia.

Part 2 of the Hospitals and Health Facilities Act outlines the necessary provisions for the regulations regarding private hospitals in Namibia.

These regulations are amendments to the public health regulations imposed following the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic.

These regulations follow the imposition of a State of Emergency in the whole of Namibia following the need to address the spread of the coronavirus pandemic.

These strategic guidelines were developed by the government to improve the health and public services delivery in Namibia by harnessing resources of the private sector and the business and operational models in the activities of the public sector.

These guidelines has been developed to prevent the undernutrition and overnutrition in adolescents and adults, with a focus on people with HIV/AIDS and tuberculosis (TB) patients. The guidelines highlights the necessary guidance to service providers and managers on how to implement the
nutrition interventions, and development partners to use when planning nutrition interventions for adolescent and adults.

This policy aims at ensuring that evidence-based nutrition interventions and programmes are implemented in Malawi. The main focus areas of the policy include the prevention of undernutrition, gender equality and equity in nutrition, treatment and control of malnutrition, prevention and management of overweight, nutrition education and behavioural change, and nutrition emergency.

These guidelines was designed by the Ministry of Health to guide government programmes aimed at reducing the risk of TB infection in health facilities, households and the community.

The long term vision of this guidelines is for Namibia to be free of tuberculosis and leprosy. The guidelines is for use by the health care workers involved in the management of TB suspects and patients.

These guidelines outline the best practices for the diagnosis and management of drug resistant tuberculosis in Namibia. The guideline is intended for use by clinicians and other health workers involved management of drug resistant tuberculosis in Namibia.

This policy was designed by the Namibia Government as a response to the HIV/AIDS epidemic. The policy framework is based on five core strategies covering prevention of new infection, creating a supportive environment for the infected, high quality treatment for the infected, mitigating socioeconomic impact of the epidemic, and quality programme implementation across the country.

This policy aims to address HIV/AIDS in the agriculture sector by focusing on eight key priority areas: Gender Mainstreaming, Economic Empowerment, Community Based Support, Food, and Nutrition; Expanded HIV/AIDS Communication; Human Resource Protection and Management, Workplace Support, and HIV/AIDS Action Research.

This action plan for vulnerable children in Malawi aims to improve access to essential services for vulnerable children to ensure their survival, protection, and development to be able to realize their full rights and potential.

These guidelines has been designed to guide medical doctors, clinical officers, medical assistants, nurses, midwives, health surveillance assistants (HSAs) and medical records clerks who are working in public and private sector health facilities in Malawi on the implementation of integrated HIV Services such as the management of HIV-related diseases, monitoring of HIV patients, and care of new-born.

This policy has been designed to respond to the current gaps in HIV prevention interventions in Malawi. The strategy present approaches for primary and secondary HIV
prevention, strategy for behavioural change, capacity building for intervention at the national and community levels, and monitoring and evaluation of government intervention.
