This is an executive order that makes provision for the set-up of a Voluntary Offshore Assets Regularization Scheme in Switzerland for all categories of taxpayers who have defaulted in the declaration of their offshore assets and the payment of taxes.

Accordingly, a tribunal established in any of the enactments specified in the schedule to this decree is hereby dissolved. A charge, claim or court process filed before a tribunal established under any of the enactments specified in the schedule to this decree shall be deemed to have been duly filed or served before the Federal High Court or High Court of a state, as the case may be and such charge, claim and court process shall be deemed amended as to title, venue and such other matter as may be appropriate to give effect to this subsection without further assurance than this decree.

The National Disaster Response Plan (NDRP) establishes a process and structure for the systematic, coordinated, and effective delivery of federal assistance, to address the consequences of any major disaster or emergency declared by the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. To address the increasing importance of climate change issues in Nigeria, the Federal Executive Council adopted in 2012 the Nigeria Climate Change Policy Response and Strategy. This act amends the Niger Delta Development Commission (Establishment, etc.) Act, No 6, 2000 to increase the funding of the Commission for effective discharge of its duties.

This Executive Order supports local content/ made in Nigeria products by giving them preference in public procurement. It emphasizes that at least 40% of the procurement expenditure on items in all Ministries, Department and Agencies of the Federal Government of Nigeria shall be locally manufactured goods or local service providers.

Information on expenses of political parties/candidates allows voters to make better educated decisions at the polls and this can help hold candidates and parties accountable to the electorate. Disclosure of information about income and spending by political parties and candidates is nowadays seen as a critically important component of a democratic campaign and party finance regime. Disclosure may help contributes to an overall transparency of the electoral process, it may serve as a barrier to excessive campaign spending, contribute to making politicians accountable to voters, and also emerge as an obstacle to corruption.
