This parliamentary Act provides for the regulation of the production, sale and consumption of alcoholic drinks, to repeal the Chang’aa prohibition Act, the Liquor Licensing Act and for connected purposes. It is designed with an overall objective to protect the health of the individual in light of the dangers of excessive consumption of alcoholic drinks.
