Among others, it: provides for associate membership of cooperatives; provides for the categorical distribution of primary cooperatives; provides for audit and independent review of cooperatives for transparency; provides for the voluntary winding-up of cooperatives; provides for the establishment and functions of cooperatives tribunal, and to substitute the advisory board with the advisory council.
