This proclamation re-establishes the Ethiopian Roads Authority, which was re-established under Proclamation No. 63 of 1993, as an autonomous public authority of the Federal Government. The Authority shall be accountable to the Prime Minister. Its objectives are to develop highways, guarantee a high standard of roads constructed, and subsequently promote good road linkage.
