This guideline document provides guidance as well as the procedure for the implementation and administration of the Research and Development (R&D) provisions. The objectives of these guidelines are to provide procedures for the implementation of the R&D provisions in the Act, to create a linkage between the Oil and Gas industry with research institutions and academic community under the R & D cluster model, and to stimulate utilization of Nigerian facilities and intellectual resources, in finding research solutions to industry problems.
