The president imposed restrictions and addressed the nation on the effect of the restrictions that had been put in place to curtail the spread of COVID19 in Ghana. He announced additional restrictions to contain and halt the spread of the virus within Ghana, especially in Accra, Tema, Kasoa and Kumasi, which have been identified by the Ghana Health Service as hotspots of the infections in March 2020.
