The Kaduna State Women’s Economic Empowerment (WEE) policy aims to reduce poverty and foster economic growth by addressing structural and normative barriers that marginalize women as economic participants. It emphasizes collaboration among stakeholders and focuses on nine key pillars: economic participation, entrepreneurship and business development, access to finance and resources, education and skills training, land and property rights, social protection and safety nets, gender equity and protection from violence, health and well-being, and digital inclusion. Through these comprehensive interventions, the policy seeks to achieve sustainable development and ensure the full realization of women’s economic rights.
