equitable development. The main focus areas of the policy include: gender, literacy, education and training; gender and reproductive health; agriculture, food security and nutrition; natural resources and environmental management; governance and human rights; poverty eradication and economic empowerment; gender and HIV and AIDS; and gender based violence.
