This policy aims to reduce morbidity and mortality in Lesotho by improving health status of citizens. The main policy measures include free universal access to HIV and AIDs information, prevention, treatment, care and support to all citizens; promoting behavioural change for good health; promoting healthy environment; strengthen immunization against communicable diseases for vulnerable groups; and establishing clear guidelines and legislation on implementation of communicable and non-communicable diseases.
