The Nigerian Oil and Gas industry Content Act was developed to provide steps to be used for the development and monitoring of Nigerian content in the Oil and Gas industry. This guideline is issued under the provisions of the Nigeria Oil and Gas industry content development Act to establish a procedure for the administration and management of applications for temporary work permits and the deployment of expatriates in the industry. It is intended to facilitate compliance with the relevant sections of the Act dealing with issues of expatriates on temporary work permits and deployment of such expatriates and technology transfer.
