This is an Act to promote the implementation of private finance initiatives in development projects and to ensure efficiency and effectiveness in public infrastructural projects as well as promote transparency and accountability in private sector participation in the provision of social services. The Act also provides guidelines for inception, procurement, contracting and management of public infrastructure projects.
