Some of Its medium-term goals are to promote ecological and biodiversity advancement, produce a detailed design of the preferred project, explore the possibility of utilizing the abundant groundwater reserve in the basin, and the long-term goal is to undertake the development of Lake Chad to transform its environments for economic growth and stability of the region.
