This policy represents the Rwandan government’s total commitment to transforming to an information-rich and based economy. It strives to ensure the citizens of Rwanda tap into the opportunities inherent in the information age, to reap the socio-economic benefits contained. The policy is geared towards achieving: the transformation of Rwanda into an IT nation, utilization of ICTs within all spheres of the society, improving the efficiency of public and civil service and improving personnel development capacities, among others.
