These Regulations are made under the Environmental Management Act. They provide regulations on how to protect water source areas and other sensitive areas. To prevent pollution of water by hazardous waste, it emphasises that no hazardous waste should be disposed of at any other place except in a licensed hazardous waste disposal site or landfill.
