This is a parliamentary Act that makes provision for the regulation of the possession, purchase, acquisition, delivery, manufacture, storage, use, conveyance and handling of explosives and for connected purposes. It does not apply to the importation, storage, use or transportation of any explosive by the Kenya defence forces, by any other armed forces lawfully in Kenya, or by any other force or service constituted by or under any written law and lawfully in possession of explosives.
