This parliament Act establishes the Kenya national mining institute for its incorporation, powers and functions, and for connected purposes. Its function shall be to provide directly or in collaboration with other institutions, services in skills development, consultancy, innovation, research and development in the mining sector on a commercial basis to the public sector national government, county government and state corporations, the private sector, local or foreign, who may require such services from the institute.
