This document presents Mozambique’s NDC 1 Update, which was prepared following a participatory approach in which the public and private sectors including civil society and academia were also involved with technical assistance from various international partners. The update responds to COVID-19 impacts, climatic shocks that affected the south of the country in 2021, and the insecurity in the central and northern regions of the country.
