This is a parliamentary Act that establishes the central bank of Kenya and to provide for the operation and to establish the currency of Kenya and for matters connected therewith and related thereto. The principal objective of the bank shall be to formulate and implement monetary policy directed to achieving and maintaining stability in the general level of prices.
