The third edition of the EMP assesses the environmental management relevance of the policies and programmes of the department of mineral resources (DMR). The EMP harmonizes all policies and plans of the DMR to avoid duplication of projects and efforts; as it strives to create sustainable economic growth of the mineral and mining sector.
