The GASIP prioritises private sector-led pro-poor agricultural value chain development. It aims to provide the necessary framework for long-term engagements towards scaling up investments. The GASIP is developed to contribute to the achievement of Ghana’s Medium Term Agriculture Sector Investment Programme (METASIP). GASIP emphasizes 4 strategic axes: linking smallholder farmers to agribusinesses; nationwide scaling up of investment; promoting climate change resilience approaches, and knowledge management, and integration of interventions.
