This an Act of parliament to establish the Kenya plant health inspectorate service as a regulatory body for the protection of plants, seeds and plant varieties and agricultural produce; to provide that the service shall be responsible for administering several other written laws and; for matters incidental thereto or connected therewith. It provides for the establishment of the Kenya plant health inspectorate service in Nairobi. Its functions shall be to regulate matters relating to plant protection, seeds and plant varieties, and regulate import and export of plants and plant materials.
