The Kenya Veterinary Board (KVB) strategic plan covers the period 2013-2017 in alignment with the second medium-term plan of Kenya Vision 2030 and the 2010 constitution of Kenya. The plan emphasizes the need for effective veterinary services to contribute to the country’s national growth and development. The strategic plan has allocated a total of Kshs. 644.4 Million towards the implementation of five strategic objectives to enhance compliance with set standards, strengthen institutional capacity, enhance publicity & improve information management and lastly to expand linkages with relevant partners.
