From the analysis of the status of the waters catchments in Kenya, key outputs have been detailed in the work plan for the sustainable management of water catchment areas within the framework of the National Water Catchment Conservation Programme (NWCCP). These include a. improved partnerships and participation of stakeholders in the management of water catchment areas; strengthened capacity of communities to implement WCA programmes.
