This document emphasizes that no person shall import, cause or suffer any meat or meat products to be imported into Kenya without a valid import permit issued under these regulations. Regulation 6 concerns the inspection of meat products -A person importing meat or meat products pursuant to a permit issued under these regulations shall apply to the inspecting officer for permission to clear such imports not less than twenty-four hours before the arrival of such imports in Kenya.
