The policy acts as a comprehensive guideline towards addressing employment issues in Ghana. The policy prioritises vulnerable groups, youth, women and persons with disability (PWDs). It aims to integrate approaches in relation to: entrepreneurial development, private sector competitiveness, linking agriculture to the other sector of the economy, research and innovation, vocational and technical skills development, productivity improvement, harnessing opportunities in labour migration and the green economy.
