The rules apply to the ports of Richards Bay, Durban, East London, Ngqura, Port Elizabeth, Mossel Bay, Cape Town, Saldanha Bay and Port Nolloth and to any other port that has been determined to be a port in terms of the relevant sections of the national ports act of 2005. The rules aim to ensure proper management and control of these ports.
