The ministerial order determines the models of land consolidation and productivity. Land consolidation is a reform of the ministry of agriculture and natural resources targeted at rural development and promoting an increase in agricultural production, as a result of more available lands for farming. The order states that the selection of an appropriate land consolidation model project shall be between the ministry, landowners, land tenants, and other farming stakeholders in the area.
