Prevention of Rabies Act

The Act contains the powers of the Director of Veterinary Services to declare areas as rabies control areas and generally manage such areas. No animal shall be moved from, into, and from place to place within control areas. It also specifies the duties of owners of animals identified to be predisposed to rabies infections.
