The regulations prohibit the sale, manufacturing, and importation of any oils and fats in processed foods intended for human consumption that exceeds 2 gram per 100 grams of end product foodstuff. Trans fat contents per individual ingredient at the mixing bowl stage shall be kept on record for compliance purposes.
