An Act to continue the existence of the Zambia Competition Commission and rename it as the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission; safeguard and promote competition; protect consumers against unfair trade practices; provide for the establishment of the Competition and Consumer Protection Tribunal; repeal and replace the Competition and Fair Trading Act, 1994; and provide for the related matters.

An Act to repeal the Cattle Slaughter (Control) Act

An Act to regulate the dairy industry so as to develop an efficient and self-sustaining dairy industry that will effectively contribute towards poverty alleviation, household food security and employment creation; establish the Dairy Industry Development Board and provide for its functions and powers; enhance milk production in order to fully utilise the capacity of processing facilities, so as to achieve growth in the processing of safe and wholesome high-value milk products; provides for the processing, manufacturing, marketing and distribution of milk; ensure collaboration and participation of all stakeholders within the dairy industry and provide wider service to farmers in the dairy industry.

An Act to provide for the introduction and implementation of plea negotiations and plea agreements in the criminal justice system and the matters connected with or, incidental to, the foregoing.

This is an Act to provide for the management, disbursement, utilisation and accountability of the Constituency Development Fund established under the Constitution; establish Constituency Development Fund Committees in constituencies and provide for their composition and functions, and provide for matters connected.

An Act to Amend the Agriculture (Fertilisers and Feeds) Act

An Act to repeal the Tsetse Control Act.

An Act to repeal the Cattle Cleansing Act.

An Act to provide for the appointment of the Director responsible for veterinary services and other staff and define their powers and functions. It provides for the prevention and control of animal diseases and for the quarantine of animals. It regulates the importation and exportation of animals, animal products, animal by-products, articles and animal feed; establishes the Animal Disease Control Fund; repeal and replace the Stock Diseases Act, 1961; and provides for related matters.

An Act to approve the excess expenditure of money aggregating two billion, seven hundred and seventy-one million, nine hundred and sixty-one thousand, nine hundred and eighty-four Kwacha required for the services of the Republic during the financial year ended on 31st December 2007.

An Act to amend the Companies (Certificates Validation) Act.

An Act to establish an integrated National Statistical System; provide for mechanisms for coordination, collection, management and dissemination of statistics; promote the use of statistical data and information at individual, institutional, national and international levels; re-constitute the Central Statistical Office as the Zambia Statistics Agency and define its functions; establish the Board of the Zambia Statistics Agency and identify its services; provide for the production and compilation of official statistics in a transparent and impartial manner; ensure the protection of personal data collected for statistical compilation purposes; build sustainable capacity for the production and use of statistical data and information for planning purposes; ensure coordination among statistical agencies; give effect to the United Nations Fundamental Principles of Official Statistics and Principles of the African Charter on Statistics; repeal the Census and Statistics Act 1955 and the Agricultural Statistics Act 1964; and to provide for matters connected with, or incidental to, the foregoing.

An Act to amend the Customs and Excise Act.

An Act to establish the Financial Intelligence Centre and provide for its functions and powers; provide for the duties of supervisory authorities and reporting entities; and provide for related matters.

An Act to establish the Veterinary Association of Zambia; Continue the existence of the Board of the Veterinary Surgery and re-name it as the Veterinary Council of Zambia; provide for the registration of the veterinary and veterinary para-professionals and regulate their professional conduct; provide for the licensing of laboratories and animal health facilities; provide for the recognition and approval of training programs of veterinary and veterinary para-professionals; repeal and replace the Veterinary Surgeons Act, 1964; and provide for matters connected with or incidental to the foregoing.

An Act to continue the existence of the Lands Tribunal; provide for the powers and functions of the Tribunal; and provide for related matters.
