This is the law to abrogate the 1998 law relating to the establishment, organization, and management of the housing finance fund.

This Order establishes the list of works, projects and activities that have to carry out an environmental impact assessment before being granted prior authorization. The environment management authority reserves the right to request an environmental impact assessment from projects or works not listed therein.

The law determines the structure, organisation and functioning of the Higher Institute of Agriculture and Animal Husbandry (ISAE). “The institute is categorised as a higher institute of learning, research, and management, having legal personality. The institute has the mission of offering high-level courses and conducts research in various fields relating to agriculture, animal husbandry, forests and environment to the extent that its students may acquire practical knowledge which may help them assist the population in solving their problems”.

The law establishes the Rwanda food and drugs authority and determines its mission, organization, and functioning. The law regulates among others; human and veterinary drugs and vaccines, herbal medicines, medicated cosmetics, tobacco and tobacco products, and laboratory and cleaning chemicals and pesticides.

This is the presidential order ratifying the agreement for the global green growth institute signed by the Republic of Rwanda in Seoul, South Korea in 2013. The GGGI sees the sustainable development of developing and emerging countries.

This is an Act empowering the President to order an investigation into a person’s account including freezing the operations of such account where the President suspects or believes the person has been involved in offences such as bribery and abuse of office and other related matters.

This Act prohibits the sale or disposal of a motor vehicle on which there are outstanding loans from a bank. The Act specifies the offences and penalties for the unauthorized sale of a motor vehicle with outstanding loans and other related matters.

These rules are based on the Bankruptcy Act of 1979 and provide rules for bankruptcy in Nigeria including witnesses and depositions, sales and disposal of proceeds of mortgage property, bankruptcy petitions, creditor’s and debtor’s petition as well as other related matters such as proof of debt and appeals.

This is an Act covering matters related to bills of exchange, cheques and promissory notes such as capacity and authority of parties, duties of the holders, liabilities of parties, discharge of bills, cheques on a banker and promissory notes.

This Act provides regulation to guide public entities on the use of external loans and credit facilities as well as the required authorization of the Minister of Finance to provide guarantees for loans and credit facilities undertaken by public entities.

This is an Act for the establishment of the Bureau of Public Enterprises, specifying the functions of the Bureau, management, financial provisions, and the role of the Bureau in privatization and commercialization of government enterprises as well as other related matters and general powers of the Bureau.

This is an Act for the establishment of the Code of Conduct Bureau to handle all matters and complaints of corruption by public officials and civil servants including the breach of the Act. The Act specifies the powers of the Bureau, rules and procedures as well as power to issue search warrants and other connected matters.

The Act makes provision for all matters related to the taxation of capital gains and accruing on the disposal of assets including allowable deductions, fictitious transaction, valuation, and computation of capital gains as well as other related matters.

This is an Act for the imposition of tax on the net gaming revenue of casinos in the Lagos territory and other related matters.

The regulations operate under the electricity regulation act of 2006. It stipulates that: “any licensee who requires the State to expropriate land on its behalf, or any right in,
over, or in respect of the land as enshrined in the electricity regulation act, must comply with sub regulations (3) and (4), and apply in writing to the Minister of Public Works to do so in the manner prescribed in sub regulations (2) and (6)”.

The TVET policy emphasizes the importance of education and training in attaining the priority goals of developing countries. This policy on family planning aims to address the various challenges inhibiting the full implementation and success of family planning in Rwanda.

The law determines compensation for persons damaged by animals found in national parks and protected areas, as a worker or visitor with necessary authorization. It also covers damages done by animals on the list established by the national parks outside such parks or protected areas. It highlights categories and forms of compensation, payment period, persons entitled to compensation, legal actions, and other transitional provisions.
