An Act that establishes the Ghana Forestry Commission, its members and key roles, the functions of the Commission, financial provisions and other related activities.

The Act establishes a planning committee that sets aside land for purposes including soil conservation.

The Act prescribes rents and other fees to land that are under the authority of the President, the Stools Land Act, a statutory body, or public corporation.

The Act allows for provision of land to the public and the authorities in charge of land provision such as the President.

Treatment of women and men should be devoid of bias, as contained in the Ghanaian constitution, and other international ratifications and guidelines. The health sector gender policy contains framework to guide all health sector policies and programmes. It aims to ensure gender concerns and issues are integrated in the sector’s developmental processes.

Establishes a Site Advisory Committee to inspect and give recommendations of any land under the States Land Act. The Regulations Act also contains forms to apply for various types of land leases and licenses.

The Land Registry Acts establishes registry offices and appointees to work in those offices. The Act also describes how land instruments can be registered

An Act that protects farmers who acquired land after Dec 31, 1940 and before the Act in 1962, and those lands that are defective.

The goal of this agreement was to increase the meat and milk supply in Ghana by relevant Austrian authorities setting up a demonstration cattle farm in Kintampo in the Brong-Ahafo Region. The main condition of the agreement was Austria offered its technical expertise and funding in exchange for Ghana’s protection of the Austrian expert expatriates, and their related activities.

The focus of the agreement is to ensure that Ghanaian timber exports into the European Community are produced legally. The agreement deems a timber product as legal once it undergoes the Forest Law Enforcement, Governance and Trade licensing (FLEGT) scheme and obtains a FLEGT license.

This document is a development plan to catapult Ghana to a middle-income status nation by 2015. The plan asserts that, when properly implemented, it would lead to the following: improved skills and creativity of the population, an even distribution of jobs in the rural and urban areas, and a modernized agriculture sector.

These are a set of policies that target accelerated economic growth in the nation through building up human capital; removing barriers to facilitate trade in the West African region; removing investment and investor barriers such as value chain constraints; processing natural resources such as oil and gas, and modernizing agriculture.

An Act to regulate the safe and healthy sale of food, drugs and other related matters.

An action plan to improve the nutritional status of Ghanaians by tackling matters related to food security, breastfeeding, nutrient related diseases and good hygiene. There is also the idea to build on existing nutrition programmes, income generation programmes (e.g. smallholder farmers), and general health programmes.

The Breastfeeding Promotion Regulation prohibits the sale, promotion and distribution of free samples of designated products to health care personnel and health care facilities. The document defines designated products as: “infant and follow-up formula, feeding bottle, teat, pacifiers, and any product that is marketed as suitable for feeding infants up to six months of age”. The regulation also prohibits manufacturers of designated products from sponsoring the attendance of health personnel to a conference. Manufacturers of non-designated products, however, can distribute educational materials on feeding infants and the young once the materials have been screened and approved by the Food and Drugs Board.
