The purpose of the National Water Resource Strategy (NWRS) is to ensure that national water resources are managed towards achieving South Africa’s growth, development and socio-economic priorities equitably and sustainably over five to ten years.

This version of the National Water Resource Strategy is designed to provide the framework within which water resources will be managed throughout the country.

This policy defines the Department of Water Affairs and Forestry’s obligations in regulating and facilitating the use of water for aquaculture and establishes the basic principles and aims for this. Therefore, it provides a foundation and clarifies the approach for the Department of Water Affairs and Forestry (DWAF) to regulate and facilitate the use of water and associated water related infrastructure for aquaculture within its mandate as custodian authority over water resources in South Africa.

This is an Act to amend the Child Justice Act, 2008, so as to amend a definition, to further regulate the minimum age of criminal capacity, to regulate the provisions relating to the decision to prosecute a child who is 12 years or older but under the age of 14 years, to further regulate the proof of criminal capacity and to further regulate the assessment report by the probation officer.

This policy is developed to encourage employees and members of the public to make disclosures. It emphasizes that the Department of Small Business Development staff has a responsibility to disclose criminal and any other irregular conduct in the workplace and the employer has a responsibility to take all necessary steps to ensure that employees who disclose such information are protected from any reprisals as a result of such disclosure.

An Act to consolidate the laws relating to the manufacture, storage, sale, transport, importation, exportation and the use of explosives. It emphasizes that no person shall manufacture any unauthorized explosive unless it is manufactured not for sale and solely for purposes of chemical experiment or for practical trial as an explosive and in such quantities and under such conditions as may be prescribed in writing by an inspector.
