The Act stipulates that oral preparations which contain bacterial strains listed in the schedule, either solely, or in combination with other pharmacologically active ingredients; and make medicinal claims other than the general health claim provided for their use; shall be subjected to registration as medicines falling under the pharmacological classification of category A referred to in the medicines and related substances act of 1965.

This manual aims to provide uniform correct cleaning methods for the cleaning workforce, whether these are in-house or out-sourced contractors so that environmental cleaning can be effective, carried out by trained cleaners according to a scheduled routine, uses appropriate cleaning agents and equipment and can be monitored. Some of the objectives are to understand principles and methods, procedures and appropriate equipment requirements of effective cleaning in a facility setting and to ensure proper use of detergents and disinfectants in the environment.

The regulations provide rules for the sale of wheat products. It spells out the restrictions and guidelines for the sale of wheat products in the country. It also outlines the different classes of wheat products and the standards for each of them.

The regulations relate to the management and handling of alien and invasive species in South Africa. Among others, it; categorizes the listed invasive species as contained in the biodiversity act of 2004; it sets out restricted activities; national framework of documents; risk assessment; issuance, amendment, and cancellation of permits; and compliance and enforcement guidelines.

The notice, operating under section 8 of the marine living resources act of 1998, recognizes the listed organizations as interest groups.

It outlines 6 broad goals. Some of which is to create an enabling environment that supports the availability of and accessibility to healthy food choices in various settings and establish a surveillance system and strengthen monitoring, evaluation and research.
